Technician training
A training program for diagnostic technicians
Modern vehicles are networks of computers, sensors and modules, and there are not enough technicians trained to diagnose them. Over the years, interns and technicians have worked and learned in our shop in Chile, and most of them now work in different areas of the automotive industry. We are developing a structured, documented training program built on more than 20 years of hands-on diagnostic experience.
Electrical & electronic foundations
Circuits, wiring diagrams, sensors and actuators, and how to measure them correctly with a meter and a scope.
Diagnostic reasoning
A disciplined method: read the data, form a hypothesis, test it, and confirm the root cause before replacing any part.
Networks & programming
CAN and module communication, scan-tool analysis, and control module programming, coding and adaptations.

About us
From Chile to Hattiesburg: nearly two decades of know-how
HTL started in Puente Alto, Chile, in 2006. In October 2020 we founded HTL Automotive Services LLC in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, and opened our doors in March 2021 to serve owners of European vehicles.
We combine dealer-level technology, international training and a customer-first approach. The electronics, programming and key work many shops avoid is what we do every day.
Our founder: Juan Sebastian Barriga Gomez, Engineer in Machinery and Automotive Vehicles (INACAP, Chile), with more than 20 years in advanced diagnostics, vehicle electronics and module programming. He leads the technical work at HTL and is developing our technician training program.
